SONAR!

The method of using SONAR to study the Hydrosphere was first discovered in the year 1906. I know I know that was a long time ago, but look; it’s gotten us to where we are today. SONAR has had many different impacts on the way we can study the great depths of ocean floor. SONAR is used to send out sound waves, and then SONAR waits for a returning echo. This has helped us through the years because, now we have just a quick step to studying the ocean floor. Back then though the scientists had many different things they had to do to study the ocean floor.

This is a visual of what SONAR actually does!
