Submersible Vehicles are car looking things that go underwater to study the deepest parts of the ocean. We have Submersible Vehicles because the deepest depths of the ocean have to high of a water pressure for our ears to take on. They have helped us out in the science world a lot. Now with these we can actually explore what is down in the deepest parts of the ocean, as before we couldn’t because we didn’t have anything that could go down that deep. The Submersible Vehicles were first used in the year 1953. On January 23, 1960 the Submersible Vehicle named the Trieste went under water at depths of 10,912 meters. They went down that deep into the waters to explore and see what was down in the waters. While down in the ocean they discovered many exotic sea creatures. They discovered this little red shrimp creature. The scientists said they had never seen something like it.
