Well there are a lot of Buoys out there to learn about and today we are learning all about the Wonderful Weather Buoys!

The weather buoys were founded in 1927. All the different types of buoys are all similar in some sort of way. See they all basically are used to warn emergency vehicles of when something bad is occurring there. For example, think about the Oil Spill last year. It was pretty bad wasn't it. Well, just blame BP. They shouldn't even be in business right now. Hold up, I am going to put them out of business right now. OK, I am back. Well hope no one that is reading this liked to get there gas for the BP station. Weather Buoys are used to collect data from the Ocean. Some of the major things that they do are warn people and or emergency vehichles of something bad that is occurring. So maybe you may see them warning about low water levels. If you have a boat you probally know that you don't want to drive a boat where there is a low water level. Also, The weather buoys also can help determine the weather like qualitites of the water by the solar panels!
